Senior Contributor Heather Vaughan

Heather A. Vaughan is a fashion historian, author and lecturer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work focuses on 20th Century popular culture, fashion and film costume design. She regularly writes the History of Fashion and Book Reviews sections for Worn Through.

Heather’s most recent publication is in the newly released book Essays on Women’s Artistic and Cultural Contributions 1919-1939: Expanded Social Roles for the New Woman Following the First World War This work has been awarded the Adele Mellen Prize for Distinguished Contribution to Scholarship. Heather is a also a contributing author to The Greenwood Encyclopedia of Clothing through American History, 1900 to the Present.
