Fashion: Now & Then: From Antiquity to Visionary Conference

The Adrian G. Marcuse Library at LIM College invites participation in the fourth annual Fashion: Now & Then Conference, a three day conference in which participants will discuss the past, present, and future uses of fashion information and technology in fashion. We look forward to proposals that will demonstrate how fashion information and technology in fashion has evolved through time and how it will continue to evolve in the future. Proposal topics can include one or more of these subjects in relation to fashion or style:

  • Archives
  • Blogs
  • Digital collections
  • Fashion history
  • Libraries
  • Material culture
  • Museums
  • Social media
  • Special collections
  • Textiles, and many more
