To celebrate the current diversity in dress historical research the Association of Dress Historians announces a Call for Papers for their annual New Research Day, to be held at The Art Workers Guild on Saturday 16th February 2013.
As an association designed to bring together dress and textile historians from a variety of fields, they are interested in a diverse range of research and welcome proposals from all those with a professional or educational interest in dress history.
They are especially interested in hearing from:
• Postgraduate students who have recently finished, or are about to finish, a Dissertation or Thesis relating to dress or textile.
• Curators wishing to talk about recent/forthcoming exhibition research
• Independent researchers embarking upon new projects
If you would be interested in presenting a paper at this event, please submit an abstract of 300-400 words to Alistair O’Neill (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 14th December 2012.
