CFP: Second Nordic Research Workshop

Nordic Research Workshop
Center For Fashion Studies at Stockholm University, Sweden
Abstracts due October 1, 2012

The Centre for Fashion Studies at Stockholm University has recently released an Invitation and Call For Papers for its Second Nordic Research Workshop.

The workshop will be held at the Frescati Campus on December 14, 2012, 9 AM to 5 PM, with breaks for lunch and coffee.

From the announcement: “Following the successful workshop in 2008, we once again invite Nordic scholars and graduate students from all academic disciplines and design fields who conduct research in Fashion and/or Fashion Studies to participate and present their research in a one-day-long workshop.

Besides being a venue for presenting and workshopping current research, this is an important network opportunity for scholars, students and teachers alike.

We hope that this event will strengthen the already existing relations and make more collaborations possible within various academic scholars, design teachers, and graduate students in our Nordic countries.”

To be considered for presenting your research, send a short abstract (maximum 400 words) no later than Monday, October 1, 2012 to coordinator Petrine Knight (petrine@fashion.su.se). This information can also be found online at their website.

Presentations should be in English and no longer than 15 minutes. They do not require a formal paper. The event is free for those who present their work, and open to the public.
