A taste of Criminal Crossdressing

I’ve been thinking a lot about Joan of Arc lately, it being the sexcentennial (600th) anniversary of her birthday this year. In anticipation of a post on her and other so-called crossdressers who have been taken to court for that “crime,” I give you a clip of the trial scene from the frustrating and amazing trial of unapologetically flamboyant — and articulate — Quentin Crisp (pictured above) from the bio-pic The Naked Civil Servant (1975), where John Hurt plays Mr. Crisp.
