CFP: Fashion and Socialism: between utopia and reality

The conference Fashion and Socialism: between utopia and reality will be organized by World Handicrafts Organization in Vienna, Austria in cooperation with University of Applied Arts Vienna (Cultural and Intellectual History).

The conference will be devoted to the research of relations between fashion and politics, clothing consumption and aspiration for distinction in the socialistic system.

If you are interested in participating, please, submit us your proposal in the maximal length of one page. It should include title, brief presentation of your topic as well as personal information.

We are going to (online) publish a collection of all papers after evaluating Conferences results.
