ITAA Conference This Weekend
Anyone going to the ITAA conference this weekend in Seattle? Well, in typical ITAA fashion, outside of Seattle instead of actually in the major city.
I often go, but not this year. I’m curious who is going, and if so, what you’re presenting.

Are people not going because of cost? I’m curious because I keep asking around and NO ONE seems like they’re going except full professors, and yet normally almost everyone I know goes. Comments please….

Cost is definitely a factor.

After chatting with many people via email that does seem to be a pressing issue. I know it is for me. With many faculty members’ research budgets being cut, and grad students losing their fellowships and living in this economy on student wages I think it’s just too pricey for many. I hope to make it there next year.
